Scalping is done with. I took off the rubber bands today, and let me tell you, that thing is a rock welded to another rock. E6000 glue does its job well. The only problem is I should've done a better job with the scalp sizing. I wanted to keep the lip so there would be more surface area for glueing, but it left the scalp too large. Lesson learned for next time >.<
The good news is, all the problems are in the back of her head. The front looks perfect.
It took me forever, but I painted her stand. I hope it doesn't look tacky, I rather like it myself. It's still in the process of curing, and I can't wait to put her on it!
All in all, she's coming along, and I've learned a lot in the process. My next one will be much better. ^-^
Next on the to do list: Box, and outfit! (I'm also thinking about some cute hairclips for all that hair!!)
